Practice & Sterilisation Policy

Practice Policies

  • Office Hours: Appointments are scheduled 9am to 5pm Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. However, our Administrative office is also open Mondays and Wednesdays 9am to 1 pm.
  • Appointments: For your convenience we send out a SMS reminder the day before your next appointment. The length of your next appointment will depend on the procedure that has been prescribed for you. Longer appointments are usually scheduled in the morning, to accommodate more patients in our popular after school appointments. We ask that for your treatment to progress smoothly and finish on schedule, you keep your appointments.
  • Emergency Appointments: Minor emergencies can occur sometimes.  Feel confident that our reception staff will determine the severity of each "emergency" and schedule an appointment for you as soon as possible.
  • Staff Training: We firmly believe in staff training, to remain at the forefront of modern treatments and better meet our patients’ expectations. We have daily morning huddles and monthly staff meetings, at which times the phones may be directed to voicemail. So please do leave a message and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
  • Complaints: We have a long established reputation of service to our patients and the community. If you feel we have failed you, please tell us. If we have impressed you, please tell your family and friends!

We use state-of-the art sterilisation procedures fulfilling the Australian Dental Association and Australian law requirements.

  • Our dental staff clean the instruments ultrasonically, place them in sterile pouches and run them through a steriliser for patient safety.
  • All operators wear masks and gloves.
  • A tour of the sterilisation center is available with a more detailed sterilisation description.
