What are Spark aligners?

Spark aligners are thin plastic trays that are custom-moulded to your exact smile. They look a bit like sports mouthguards. Spark aligners are completely transparent, and are conveniently removable, so you don’t need to adjust your diet or lifestyle during treatment.

How does Spark treatment work?

During your initial consultation, we will use our state-of-the-art scanner to make a digital model of your smile. This model will help us design your custom Spark treatment from start to finish. Then, we will 3D print your aligners and hand-trim and polish them for a comfortable fit.

Each set of aligners is shaped a bit differently. When you switch to a new set of aligners every couple weeks, it will slowly guide your smile into alignment.

Benefits of Spark aligners

Spark aligners are a popular option for all ages because they are:

  • Discreet: Spark aligners are the most transparent orthodontic treatment option, and are stain-resistant to retain discretion throughout treatment.
  • Comfortable: Spark aligners are custom-made to your exact prescription, and the smooth plastic and hand-scalloped edges ensure a comfortable fit.
  • Convenient: Remove your Spark aligners for meals, important events, or brushing and flossing. Just remember to wear them the recommended 22 hours a day!
  • Accurate: Your Spark treatment is planned with computer precision, so we know exactly what results you can achieve – before we begin.
